9-5 and coherence
Question: “Deuce, to raise my coherence score… does that mean I have to quit my job?”
A:
No.
Raising coherence is not about quitting your job.
It’s about quitting the futures that don’t belong to you.
Your job is only a problem if it’s being used to feed backup lives:
“I’ll stay here just in case.”
“This isn’t it, but it’s safe.”
“I’ll figure it out later.”
That’s what lowers coherence — not employment.
High coherence doesn’t mean dramatic action.
It means clean action.
You can raise your coherence score inside the same job if:
You stop treating it as temporary shelter.
You stop rehearsing exits you never take.
You stop feeding identities that aren’t going anywhere.
When coherence rises, reality makes the next move obvious.
Sometimes that’s leaving.
Sometimes it’s staying.
Sometimes it’s a third option you couldn’t see before.
You don’t quit first.
You collapse alternatives first.
When only one path remains,
action happens automatically.
That’s coherence.
