The Big Bang tells us when matter and space appeared and how everything expanded outward. But it doesn’t explain why observation changes reality, why consciousness exists, why time feels strange, or why meaning and destiny feel real. All of those questions survived the Big Bang untouched.

The self-aware universe answers those questions in one move. It shows that awareness isn’t something inside the universe — it’s the container the universe runs in. Observation matters because there is no outside observer. Consciousness exists because awareness is fundamental. Time behaves oddly because self-aware systems organize toward recognition. Meaning exists because coherence is real when a system knows itself.
